How long have you been in business and are you a full time or part time concrete contractor?
Pelagio and Sons has proudly been in business for over 25 years. We are a full time concrete contractor.
Is Pelagio and Sons Insured, Licensed and Bonded?
Yes, we are Insured, Licensed and Bonded.
Is your business owner operated or is your work delegated to employees?
We have and always will be a family own and operated business. There will always be an owner at the job site at all times.
Do I need a permit?
Each Village has it's own requirements on what type of project needs a permit. Please contact your local Village to determine if your project needs a permit.
Who will schedule any necessary inspections?
Pelagio and Sons will will schedule any pre-pour inspections that the village requires. Depending on the type of project and what is needed for a final inspection will depend on wheither Pelagio and Sons or the homeowner will schedule the final inspection.
Can I schedule the date for my project to done?
Our work relies heavily on the weather. It is for this reason that we are unable to schedule specific start dates.
Can I use salt on my concrete?
We do not recommend using any type of salt on your concrete project.
What warranty do you offer?
Pelagio and Sons offers a warranty on our workmanship. We can not guarantee against cracking, popping or spalling.
What happens if it unexpectedly rains on my new concrete?
Pelagio and Sons will be prepared for such a situation and will cover the concrete in the event of rain. However you must also be willing to respect our decision to pour the concrete on a different day if there is a good chance of rain soon.
How long might the job take?
This would depend on the type of project and how much work needs to be done.
There are also outside factors that contribute to completion time, such as inspection times and weather.
